Install it (2 minutes)
Chrome can’t one-click install a self-hosted extension yet (that comes with the Chrome Web Store listing), so it’s a quick manual load:
- Download the file above and unzip it — you’ll get a
cardit-web-clipperfolder. - Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome. - Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle).
- Click Load unpacked and select the
cardit-web-clipperfolder. - Pin the Cardit icon, open any page, click it, and Sign in to Cardit.
What it does
- Save the current page as a card
- AI summary & card-type suggestion
- Right-click: save page, text, image or link
- Keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+S)
- Pick the folder to save into
- Spots pages you’ve already saved
Your privacy
Cardit only reads a page when you click Save. It never monitors your browsing, and never captures passwords, forms or payment details.
